As humanity continues to evolve and develop, we attribute many of these achievements to ourselves- to the individual, after all we are "homo-sapien-sapiens" the most evolved forms of life in the universe. We forget that there is a certain "spirituality" that comes from without, some may call it inspiration, some may call it God..but whatever it is there is a transcendent moment of genius that we experience that seems to defy the ordinary.

I saw this talk on TED.com the other day and it offered a new way of looking at creativity. It is one of my favorite talks from TED.
