The wait is over. We are here.

It gives me great pleasure to touch base with you on this very rainy night (at least in Amsterdam!!).

In life there are many things we strive for, but after a certain period of time (a time I call "maturation period") there comes this one dream.
This extra-ordinary moment of genius when you realise what you are here for, the reason for your existence, some may even call it your destiny.

"Get to the point!" I hear many of you, my esteemed readers, murmuring from the bottom of your souls as I try to build you towards the climax.

Well, writing this blog post is a moment celebrating that dream.
This is the the day I would be able to tell you that we are finally here!!
The world can hear our voice, the movement has just entered the digital realm (lol talk about being in the stone-age for a whole 1.5 years, utterly embarrassing!)

Ladies and Gentleman we now have a site (Skewlbuoy.com) in addition to our myspace.

"Is that all??" i hear you ask...
No it is not all! *I say with a confident smug face*.
We also have applications running on Facebook.com, called the Skewlbuoy Liveportal.
And another one (yes another one!!) called The Skewl Campus for our Skewlbuoy Community forums.
You guys better add these apps right now!!! :-))))

We are also releasing the first batch of 200 limited edition T-shirts to mark our launch. About a quarter sold by pre-order, the rest waiting for you guys who have been patient enough to wait.

Thank you for being part of the movement, we hope that now we can move it to the next level. We will continue to develop, enrich and update our platform.
This is history in the making, and I mean it. This is why I am here on this planet, but I also learnt that
a dream can only be achieved with unity, hard work and respect, so alone I can never even touch it, or even have a glimpse of it but together we can really change the world and these are the truest words ever spoken, you can quote me on that.

In Science there is this theory called "Hess's Law" which says that a change is dependent on the initial and final stage, how you get there is of no consequence.

I do not really know how i am supposed to affect the world but the most important thing is we are going to be together through it all. That is what counts and that is the most important thing, that is what we are, a movement that pulls you up when you are down (and vice-versa), a movement that will believe in you even when you don't believe in yourself, a movement that will change your life, as much as it is changing mine.

Each of us is "a work in progress" and that is what humanity is about, imperfect beauty.
